The brief was to create a fun, immersive but relaxed party with standout entertainment running throughout.
After an extensive venue search, we settled on hiring the pool area in The Haymarket Hotel, London. With the help of some wonderful suppliers, we transformed the space into a 60s Retro experience. The pool was boarded off, a large selection of geometric furniture and flowers in a vibrant palette of red, hot pink, orange filled the space. The centrepiece was a bespoke geometric circular bar.
Guests were greeted by 60s style immersive performers who took polaroid images of the guests and helped them dress in 60s accessories. Roller-skate hostesses offered around canapes and guests had the chance of having their faces decorated with 60s designs by makeup artists. The vibe of the party changed from relaxed to party mode with a surprise mob dance and a drag queen lipstick reader who emerged and mingled with the guests.
This was such a fun party for a wonderful couple who trusted us to organise Craig’s 60th birthday party, with only 12 weeks to plan.
