Upon checking in, guests received a welcome pack of hand-drawn maps and itineraries, with invitations to a series of special occasions: a formal candlelit soirée in the Walled Garden, a relaxed BBQ on the terrace of Sibton Manor and a lazy Sunday brunch beside the sunken spiral swimming pool.

Our favourite moment in the build-up came one evening, when the groom and groomsmen sang a Welsh serenade to the bride as she looked down from an upper window of the main manor house. We love a tradition, especially one with a touch of Romeo and Juliet!

The ceremony was held under a stretch tent overlooking the picturesque grounds and lake of the main house. The bride and groom then hosted an elegant wedding breakfast in The Orangery, where beautiful, tapered candles were interspersed among an abundance of English meadow flowers. The evening flowed into the Drawing Room, where the couple took to the stage for an impromptu duet with the band, and the celebrations ended with a late-night DJ set in the basement.
