Annie & James' wedding

As the bride’s childhood home, the setting carried years of memories, giving the whole day a warmth and emotional depth that’s hard to find anywhere else. Then there was the view: rolling English hills and woodland stretching out from the marquee lawn.

To tackle the sloping lawn, we erected a stunning sailcloth marquee on a custom scaffold base, complete with an external decking area to make the most of that magnificent view. On entering, the eye was drawn from the delicate floral centrepieces, interspersed with candles, up to overhead installations of rattan lampshades in varying sizes, dressed with soft pastel florals.

The menu was light and fresh, with a delicious vegan option for the groom and like-minded guests.

Fun touches included a sweet station dedicated to the bride and a photo booth that was busy all night. We installed a custom panelled backdrop behind the stage and a selection of live trees, transforming the dance floor into its own summer garden.
