The focus was mainly on fun, interactive entertainment that would keep the guests engaged throughout.
We transformed the entrance of the venue, Hoxton Docks, into ‘heaven’. Guests walked through a doorway lined with gold trees, flanked with a floral arch and dotted with ancient Roman statues, into a room filled with blossom trees, a bespoke circular bar printed with sky-like clouds and plenty of heavenly white seating. Dappled lighting, a live angel harpist, flautist and gospel choir added to the atmosphere.
When the gates to ‘hell’ opened, loud music filled the room and zombie/death-like actors appeared, mingling with the guests and dragging them into hell where they witnessed a fire-show. The dancefloor was filled until the early hours of the morning. The catering had to be simple, substantial and delicious. A pizza truck cooked freshly made pizza which was handed around by the angel staff, a burger truck, curry van and waffle station were then revealed after the drink’s reception.
