Lighting played a key factor throughout; after the church service all the guests were offered mulled wine and hot chocolate whilst they waited for the couple to exit, at which stage they were surrounded by a mass of lit sparklers. The walk from the church to the family home was beautifully lit, highlighting the way to a warm drinks reception where guests were welcomed by an enormous Christmas tree, champagne and canapes.
The meal took place in a twinkling marquee filled with candlelight and hanging votives. Guests were treated to a two-course meal, after which an impressive firework display took place. The Juke Joints filled the dance floor until the early hours of the morning.
